Learning and assessment

Keep your learning organised

Moodle is LSBC’s main virtual learning environment for course materials and activities. Your course team will explain how individual assessments should be submitted and where feedback is made available.

  • Access module information, learning materials and announcements through Moodle.
  • Use Turnitin when instructed by your course team to submit an assessment.
  • Develop research, referencing, academic writing and organisational skills.
  • Search print and digital resources through the Library and Learning Resource Centre.

Student hub FAQs

Where do I find my course materials?

Open Moodle using the link above. Your course or module area should contain the learning materials, announcements and activities provided by your teaching team.

How do I view my timetable?

Use the Timetables link above and check the information supplied through the Student Portal or by your course team. Contact the team if a scheduled session is missing or appears incorrect.

Where do I submit an assessment?

Follow the instructions issued by your course team. Where Turnitin is required, use the submission route specified in Moodle rather than creating a separate public account.

What should I do if I cannot log in?

Check that you are using the correct LSBC account. If the problem continues, email itsupport@lsbc.uk with your name, course and a description or screenshot of the error.

Where can I find my handbook and LSBC policies?

Check your course area in Moodle and the documents provided during induction. If you cannot find the information you need, ask your course team or contact LSBC.
